USL were pleased to return to St Simon Zelotes to undertake roofing repairs on the East End to protect this historic Grade II Listed church in the Chelsea Conservation Area from damaging water ingress.  Working in partnership with Art Architects, the repairs comprised of new guttering, replacement of damaged tiles, rebuilding of substrate, and new flashing.

St. Simon is a lively Evangelical Anglican church built 1858-9 to the design of Joseph Peacock. In 2019, USL carried out an extensive repair, reordering and conservation programme to the interior, including custom joinery, internal redecoration, stonework, and lighting installation.  All new work and conservation have been done to blend into Joseph Peacock’s interior and to look as if they are a natural part of the design.
