USL are pleased to have worked on the extensive internal refurbishment programme at the Grade I listed St Dunstan in the West.  One of the Guild Churches in the City of London, built in 1831 following the destruction of the original church, which dated from around 1070.

This exciting renewal project including the overhaul and upgrade of the lighting system throughout the church, formation of a new office, joinery, roof repairs, and redecoration of the new office, stonework in the church and M and E works.

Internal works  included;

  • Stone cleaning to Narthex, porch and east stairwells.
  • Stone masonry restoration works to Nave floor in Portland Whitbed including replacement, repairs and repointing.
  • Brickwork repairs.
  • Roofing and leadwork including roof lights and works to main Nave roof.
  • Glazing –East Stairwell window leaded light.
  • Electrical services included design of power small power, church lighting scheme, emergency lighting, data, heating and fire systems.
  • Joinery works including Narthex screen doors and new office glass partition.
  • Creation of new office space
