USL undertook cleaning, stone repair and restoration work to the front façade of Ironmonger’s Hall on Shaftesbury Place.  The restoration works included repairs to the main entrance gates, external stonework, steps of the property as well as glazing repairs to stain glass windows.

The Ironmongers’ Hall is located right in the heart of the City of London, adjacent to the Barbican and the Museum of London. Built in the 1920’s in a Tudor style, it emanates a unique country feel.

The building features detailed ironwork gates, a sweeping staircase, stained glass windows, oak floors and grand chandeliers to form an opulent setting with warmth and exclusivity.  The building operates as the home to one of the Great Twelve Livery Companies ‘Ironmonger’s’ as well as a popular London events venue.
