USL was pleased to be working with Art Architects at St Mary’s Church in Hendon (Borough of Barnet). This GII* parish church dates from mid-C13 and is nestled within the busy Hendon community on Church End Road.
The church was in vital need of renewal and conservation works to the external fabric and roofing along with internal plaster repairs. Our restoration team undertook an extensive programme of repairs and improvements including;

- Rainwater goods & drainage
- Internal repairs & redecoration
The building was suffering from various defects in the roofs and gutters with structural movement and issues with drainage. Notably, these concerns were having a detrimental effect on the fabric of the building, particularly evident on plasterwork.
