USL have completed another successful restoration project, Bruce Castle (formerly the Lordship House) a Grade I Listed 16th Century manor house in Tottenham London. Originating back to the ‘de Bruce’ family of Scotland, the building now houses London Borough of Haringey’s archive and serves as a local history museum. Bruce Castle is thought to be one of England’s oldest brick buildings.

Appointed as Principal Contractor, the USL team carried out all project works from roofing to stone masonry, glazing, specialist joinery and delicate redecoration at this impressive Grade I Listed house. The works included important restoration to the elaborate central tower, balustrades, belvedere and clock.
