Exciting News! USL are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the restoration contract for the prestigious Marble Hill House in West London. As heritage restoration and construction specialists, Universal Stone will be operating as the Principal Contractor and working along side Acanthus Clews Architects; supporting English Heritage in the restoration and revival of this Georgian Grade I listed building.

Marble Hill Revived has been awarded a grant of over £4.08m by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund.

The project will involve extensive refurbishment focusing on both internal and external works to conserve this stunning Palladian villa. USL will be undertaking extensive repairs and alterations including masonry and stuccowork restoration, joinery and carpentry, glazing repairs, roofing, rainwater goods and weathervane restoration, associated M&E works, platform lift installation and extensive internal and external redecoration.

We look forward to starting this revival project and to honour the rich heritage of the past and creating a new legacy for the future.
