USL specialises in the conservative repair of historic brickwork as well as new brick construction. We work on a variety of structures from private estates to royal palaces and scheduled ancient monuments.

Our brickwork repairs and additions are undertaken with a sympathetic and professional approach. We have long developed techniques for conserving and restoring historic brick and stone. We have extensive architectural knowledge of working on buildings from a variety of periods from ancient, medieval to modern. We will sympathetically match and source both new and reclaimed material, as well as mortar analysis facilities to ensure the appropriate lime binder and aggregates are chosen.
