USL were involved in the restoration works at the Gothic style Anglican Church located at the end of Church Avenue within the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium. This beautiful Grade II listed building is primarily used for burial services and was designed by William Haywood in 1855 with a stunning 61ft (19 m) spire.
The extensive restoration works included the overhaul of the roof, rainwater goods and external stone masonry. The project also involved the structural repairs to the bell tower to conserve the architectural, historical significance of the building and improve the weather tightness to limit future decay. Our Case Studies
